Vibration

Assessments of vibration can be performed at TSE using a PULSE 7700 dynamic analyzer, which is available with up to 7 accelerometers and Operational Modal Analysis software. Tests can be performed either in the laboratory or field to find resonance frequencies and damping ratios of materials and structures. Building structures have been the focus of work performed to date, but other facilities including objects as small as 200 x 200 mm can be investigated using this equipment.
